This partly vacant first generation retail warehouse property was acquired in partnership with a UK Pension Fund. The property is situated in a highly sustainable location within 7 minutes’ walk of Reading mainline station, the proposed western terminal for the new Elizabeth Line and the extensive shopping and leisure facilities at The Oracle.

An under-supply of residential was identified in the town, which coupled with the forthcoming opening od the new Elizabeth Line, makes the site ideally suited for a prime residential development.

Detailed planning consent has bee obtained for 427 apartments with a 10% affordable provision and car parking for 124 cars.

The first phase of construction commenced in January 2020 and will provide 253 apartments with amenity space in two blocks scheduled for completion Spring 2022.

Crossmark have invited artists, local organisations and community groups to work together to design a three dimensional public art piece for the development in a major participatory art project, Our Domain.
